release a full-length CD. Steven Adler is also
negotiating to have his long-overdue autobiography
released in 2006 with the plan to have it made into
a motion picture in the future.

made the rounds
at The Borgata in Atlantic City on Saturday (Oct.
1), dropping by to hang out with
Rick Springfield
after Rick's sold-out show
at the resort. Ace and Rick chatted it up about the
biz and touring and were then escorted over to the
other venue within the casino complex to catch the
final encore of PEARL JAM's also sold-out
performance, where Ace was penciled in to jam with
the band. Ace was brought up onstage by PEARL JAM
guitarist Mike McCready, who announced to the
capacity crowd, "I never would have picked up a
guitar if it wasn't for Ace Frehley." Springfield
and his entourage cheered Ace on from the VIP area
as the band launched into an overcharged rendition
of "Keep on Rockin' in the Free World" with Ace
offering up the blistering leads to the SRO crowd.

were all over Finnish press and in the headline news
this past weekend after 14,000 people came to see
the band celebrate the release of their new album,
"Another Hostile Takeover", by playing a free
showcase last Friday (April 15) outside the
Stockmann department store in Helsinki. The group
performed on a stage right above the entrance to the
department store, under the legendary Stockmann
clock (probably the most famous meeting place in
Helsinki). HANOI ROCKS played a 20-minute set of
songs from the new album, and were scheduled to take
part in an autograph-signing session in Stockmann's
music department (in the basement); however, due to
the size of the crowd, the autograph session was

that KISS singer/bassist GENE
SIMMONS
has a guest appearance in the new
John Travolta movie, Be Cool (in theatres now and
also including a cameo from AEROSMITH frontman
Steven Tyler).
Gene can be seen at the end of the movie at the MTV
Music Awards. He is sitting two rows behind John
Travolta and Uma Thurman and can't be missed. Check
