Several brand-new photos of original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley, taken during his guest appearance on the "Merry KISSmass Special" with Eddie Trunk on New York's Q104.3 FM last Friday (Dec. 23), have beeen posted online at Trunk's official web site. Check them out: Gallery#1, Gallery#2.

Several photos taken at KISS frontman Paul Stanley's second art exhibition, which took place on December 21, 2005 at the Célébrités Gallery of Celebrity Fine Art in Hawaii, have been posted online at this location. Paul's very first public showing of his paintings took place at this same gallery on April 6, 2005. Stanley recently told Kiss Kollector Online that he is also planning on art exhibitions throughout the USA soon.

On Wednesday, December 14, original KISS drummer Peter Criss attended the sixth annual Children's Christmas Parade in Union City, New Jersey. "I had a great time at this event," Criss said. "It was terrific to hang out with heroes like firemen and the police, not to mention all the fans that came out for the event." Check out pictures at this location.

VELVET REVOLVER played an unannounced show last night (Dec. 7) in Las Vegas. The band performed a 11-song set at Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where Maxim held a Billboard Music Awards afterparty. ACCEPT guitarist Wolf Hoffmann joined former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach's solo band for a one-time-only appearance at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, New York on Saturday, November 26. Several photos of the damage caused to POISON frontman Bret Michaels' tour bus in the drive-by shooting incident which took place a week ago (Nov. 21) in Chicopee, Massachusetts have been posted online at BretMichaels.com.

According to a posting at SickthingsUK, TWISTED SISTER frontman Dee Snider got up on stage with ALICE COOPER Thursday night (Nov. 17) for the last show of the "Dirty Diamonds" tour at Bournemouth BIC in the U.K. Dee joined Alice for "Under My Wheels", describing the experience from the stage as "a dream come true." VELVET REVOLVER frontman Scott Weiland (ex-STONE TEMPLE PILOTS) performed three songs ("Barbarella", "Money Changes Everything" and "Time After Time") with Cyndi Lauper on Friday (November 11) during the taping of a new episode of VH1 Classic's "Decades Rock Live". The show that focuses on Cyndi Lauper was taped at the Trump Taj Mahal Resort & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. Other artists that performed included Shaggy, Pat Monahan (TRAIN), Ani DiFranco. Photos of ADLER'S APPETITE's recent trip to Argentina have been posted online at StevenAdler.net. ADLER'S APPETITE's lineup for the Argentine tour — which ended with a Nov. 7 appearance in Rosario — consisted of Steven Adler (ex-GUNS N' ROSES), lead singer Sheldon Tarsha, bassist Chip Z'Nuff (ENUFF Z'NUFF), and guitarists Michael Thomas (BEAUTIFUL CREATURES) and JT Longoria (IZZY STRADLIN). In 2006, ADLER'S APPETITE (Keri Kelli, Robbie Crane, Sheldon Tarsha and Steven Adler) will be touring Europe and also plan to release a full-length CD. Steven Adler is also negotiating to have his long-overdue autobiography released in 2006 with the plan to have it made into a motion picture in the future.

MÖTLEY CRÜE frontman Vince Neil hosted the inaugural "Off the Strip" Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament on Friday, November 11 at Peter Morton's Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Martell Foundation, a music industry organization dedicated to the innovative life saving research into the treatment of leukemia, cancer and AIDS.

According to a posting on KissOnline.com, Frehley made the rounds at The Borgata in Atlantic City on Saturday (Oct. 1), dropping by to hang out with Rick Springfield after Rick's sold-out show at the resort. Ace and Rick chatted it up about the biz and touring and were then escorted over to the other venue within the casino complex to catch the final encore of PEARL JAM's also sold-out performance, where Ace was penciled in to jam with the band. Ace was brought up onstage by PEARL JAM guitarist Mike McCready, who announced to the capacity crowd, "I never would have picked up a guitar if it wasn't for Ace Frehley." Springfield and his entourage cheered Ace on from the VIP area as the band launched into an overcharged rendition of "Keep on Rockin' in the Free World" with Ace offering up the blistering leads to the SRO crowd. According to a posting at KissOnline.com, KISSTERIA (photo), the popular East Coast-based KISS tribute act, made an appearance at the grand opening of the brand new $21 million Nokia Theatre in New York's Times Square last Tuesday, September 27. The two-hour meet-and-greet had the boys in front of the sleek new theatre greeting and posing for photos with VIPs and Nokia executives before walking the red carpet into the theatre for a concert featuring rockers NICKELBACK. Italian photographer Daniele Purrone has uploaded a number of high-quality photos of the September 10 show in Colmar, France featuring headliners the SCORPIONS, with legendary guitarist Uli Jon Roth (ex-SCORPIONS) in the support slot. As previously reported, Roth joined the SCORPIONS for live renditions of "In Trance", "Pictured Life", "Kojo No Tsuki", "We'll Burn the Sky", and "He's a Woman, She's a Man". KISS played live for the first time in over a year as part of the Honda Fest on Saturday (September 10) at the Columbus Convention Center in downtown Columbus, OH. Only Honda factory workers and their families were able to get tickets to this very exclusive KISS show. Check out pictures from KissNews.de. If you're wondering why this unique KISS show took place in Ohio, that's because in 1977, Honda formed a partnership with Ohio that changed the face of the automotive industry. The Honda Motor Company today has nearly 16,000 employees in Ohio, which is two-thirds of Honda's total U.S. employment.

According to a post from TESLA guitarist Frank Hannon at his official website, the band may be teaming up with DEF LEPPARD for a show in Peoria, Il on July 27th even though their tour was due to end yesterday (June 28th). KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons co-hosted Couzin Ed's Babefest 2005 on Friday, June 24 at The Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA. "Rockin' crowd, beautiful girls and lots of fun," Simmons writes on his web site. "Sang CHUCK BERRY's 'Rock and Roll Music' with local band OCTANE. HANOI ROCKS were all over Finnish press and in the headline news this past weekend after 14,000 people came to see the band celebrate the release of their new album, "Another Hostile Takeover", by playing a free showcase last Friday (April 15) outside the Stockmann department store in Helsinki. The group performed on a stage right above the entrance to the department store, under the legendary Stockmann clock (probably the most famous meeting place in Helsinki). HANOI ROCKS played a 20-minute set of songs from the new album, and were scheduled to take part in an autograph-signing session in Stockmann's music department (in the basement); however, due to the size of the crowd, the autograph session was eventually cancelled. KISS Fan Shop reports that KISS singer/bassist GENE SIMMONS has a guest appearance in the new John Travolta movie, Be Cool (in theatres now and also including a cameo from AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler).

In a picture published [Tuesday, March 8] in the New York Daily News, however, they neglected to mention that the reveler shown receiving Tommy's bounty was none other than Billboard Co-Executive Editor Tamara Conniff, demonstrating how to take off the polka-dot bowtie and throw down like you mean it."
